Day 1: Athens arrival
Upon your arrival at Athens airport you will be met by our transferman and transferred to your hotel in Athens. The rest of your day free to spend as you wish. Stay overnight in Athens.
Day 2: Half Day Athens Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel for a half day city tour of Athens. Depart for the Temple of Olympian Zeus where you will visit and have time to explore. Proceed to Panathinaiko Stadium cradle of the first Olympic Games which took place in 1896. Pass by the Prime's Ministers residence, Ex Royal Palace, (guarded by colourful Evzones) Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, Hadrian's Arc, St. Paul's Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schlieman's House (Nomismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, and the Russian Orthodox Church. At the Acropolis you will tour the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, the Erechtheion and the Museum of the Acropolis. Stay overnight in Athens.
Day 3: Athens
Free day in Athens. Stay overnight in Athens.
OPTIONAL EXCURSION – Full Day Delphi Tour
We’ll pass by Olympic Stadium to see the Athens 2004 Olympics main venue. We continue through Thebes, make short stop at Levadia and Arachova for Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Pass by Castalia Springs, then visit the archaeological site of the Temple of Apollo, famous for its oracle and the Museum of Delphi with it’s spectacular finds. After lunch, you’ll return to Athens via the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, built on the south slopes of Parnassus, well known for its attractive hand-woven carpets, rugs and quilts, as well as it’s wine and cheese.
Day 4: Departure
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. End of our services. |
